Bellaire, TX 77401
Houston Press's Description
Sinatra music bellows through this quaint corner cafe. Such a place could easily be found in the Little Italy section of New York, but this bistro overlooks Bellaire's Paseo Park. The menu is trendy enough to attract serious foodies. Hits include crawfish-jalapeño-cilantro fettuccine, as well as favorites like chicken Minelli, tossed with a creamy garlic sauce. And don't forgo the To Die For, a heavenly stack of ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone cheese, almond torte and seasonal berries.
Tips from foursquare
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! GREAT prices on bottles of wine, too. Sit in a booth near the windows...as it is on a corner!
Descent quick Italian. Calamari Picata is oustanding.
My favorite dish is the chicken minelli! It's basically chicken Alfredo...and it is outstanding! Also if you are a "fungi" go for the skillet mushrooms appetizer! They are delightful!
My favorite pasta is the jalapeño cream fettuccine with crawfish. You need to ask for more garlic or jalapeños of you want a kick.
Great view of the relatively busy intersection while dining.
