  • 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. March through September and from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. October through February. After Labor Day, ticket sales will stop daily at 5:00 p.m. The McGovern Children’s Zoo and the Wildlife Carousel close 30 minutes prior to the rest of the Zoo.

Some time back, it was even revealed that one of the snakes in the reptile house was made of rubber, and nobody cottoned on for more than a year.     It doesn't get a whole lot of run in any media, but I think it's really good. They do a nice job here -- a lot of animals. My daughters always enjoy that.

    We got a membership & love the animals althou... we haven't used it much in the summer to hot!!! It's enjoyable in cooler weather. No waiting in lines with membership a plus!
