Founded in 1995, the non-profit Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, located in Midtown, is constantly expanding its repertoire toward ever edgier contemporary jazz dance and innovative dances full of kinetic thrills. You can count on a Met concert being both engaging and wildly entertaining. Their snazzy fusion style should appeal to anyone interested in dance. Part of the Met's mission also includes training up-and-coming dancers; classes are available for teens and adults year-round.
