Description
Hooper's may be a no-nonsense kinda place, but the bar is not without a sense of humor, as evidenced by the clear plastic globe of rotating toy horses hanging from the ceiling. With about a dozen beers on tap, mostly of the domestic variety, Hooper's keeps it familiar by incorporating regional brews into the mix. Fridays feature live bands on the corner stage, but if the tunes aren't to your liking there are plenty of pool tables under conical green lights, or boxing and bowling video games near the back. If the bartender turns his back on you, don't be offended -- he's probably just trying to give you a good look at the horseshoe tattoo on the back of his shaved head.
