Nestled within the Texas Medical Center and near the Museum District, Hermann Park exists as the city's center for recreation. Within its confines, you will find an 8-acre lake with ducks and pedal boats, a Japanese garden, a train, a walking trail, the Houston Zoo, a golf course, nature trails, Miller Outdoor Theater and a playground.
