Nestled in the heart of Avondale, Henry Jack's has been in the same place, with the same name, since 1935. A big club with the feel of a neighborhood bar, it offers a mix of both worlds. Day drinkers take over the place when the sun is shining, sucking down domestic pints and whittling away the hours with games of pool. Come nightfall, however, a sexy crowd enjoys hip-hop, Top 40, old school, and dance music from local DJs, as well as performances by Latin bands every other Sunday. Henry Jack's may be one of the only nightspots in town that has a suggestion box.
