Hennessey's Tavern makes a conscious effort to emphasize the classic feel-good ambiance of a warm Irish pub. You won't find any sexy lighting or kitschy chandeliers in this establishment; just beer, whiskey, and thrifty weeknight specials. The crowd ranges from your typical college crowd to the older, more affluent patrons of Laguna Beach's downtown artists' district. The top floor boasts a second sizable bar and a cozy, well-worn dance floor where you can cut loose to some live Irish band music after 10 p.m.
