Description
Hedz or Tales is a bar known for its $5 pitchers, hospitable bar staff and
groups of regulars. The afternoon crowd is made up of employees from nearby
businesses seeking an ice-cold Stella after a hard day's work. Barmaid
Leanne's attentive service keeps them coming back; usually working
afternoons, she makes a point of chatting with each person who walks through the door. The simple, concrete-floored bar is unusually well-lit for a dive, and there is a large smoking patio with its own pool table. In addition to the beer selection, Hedz or Tales features a full bar, and patrons man the jukebox, usually mixing up the old-school jams (think Al Green and Mary Jane Girls). The night crowd varies depending on live events and the bands playing; weekend DJs draw in a younger clientele, while some of the cover bands bring the older set.
