Hector's on Henderson is anti-Dallas dining; an unconscious thumbed nose at restaurants that often crumble under the strain of all that is chic, hip, edgy and hyper-sophisticated. Hector's takes bedrock grub with a Southern drawl-- meat loaf, Cobb salad--and invigorates them with imagination and deft treatments. The dining room is spare and uncluttered by high-concept, so you aren't dazzled into distraction. What a concept.
