From Charlie Phan of Slanted Door and Out the Door fame comes this chic place, featuring several spaces (a fabulous long bar, a tucked-away dining room, a more casual room with counter seating overlooking the open kitchen) in which to enjoy modern Chinese comfort food, as well as wittily named and conceived cocktails. We preferred the appetizers to the main courses and noodle dishes. In addition to the intriguing cocktails (we liked the frothy, honeyed Bumblebee), there's a well-chosen wine and beer list.
