Hawaiian BBQ is the type of place where "to go" orders are preferable: The menu consists of photos on the wall that look like they were taken in the 1960s, and the fluorescent lights don't make anyone look good. That said, the kitchen turns out fantastic traditional Hawaiian plates, including loco moco (hamburger and a fried egg with gravy over rice), slow-roasted Kalua pig (to die for), and, of course, lots of Spam. Students pack the place because it always gives an enormous amount of food for very little cash. You won't care about the decor once you've been stuffed full of macaroni salad.
