Another Cuban restaurant in Miami? That's like another needle in the proverbial haystack. But Havana Miami Restaurant is a red, white and blue needle shining like a beacon through the hay. Known for their arroz con pollo a la chorrera (Cuban rice with chicken), cochinillo (roast pig) and vaca frita (shredded beef), you'll find all the Cuban favorites. Set on a side street in Kendale Lakes, it's a nice escape from your standard Calle Ocho or South Beach.
If I had a dollar for every Cuban restaurant in Miami, well, I'd have an awful lot of dollars. Though Cuban restaurants are countless in these parts, when it comes to quality, few stand out.
