Move over, Tilia. There''s another fabulous neighborhood bistro in Linden Hills. Harriet Brasserie, a French restaurant with a Brazilian accent, is run by chef Alain Lenne, the charming workhorse behind La Belle Crepe, and chef Fernando Silvo, who spent years perfecting his techniques at French Meadow Bakery. Harriet serves French dishes like steak tartare (replacing the beef with finely chopped bison), steamed mussels, and steak au poivre. South American dishes include coxinha (dumplings with spiced chicken, fried like a croquette) and bauru, a Brazilian torta. The Hill Burger, by the way, is easily one of the best grass-fed burgers in town.
Here, in the birthplace of Juicy Lucys, it's always a surprise when a non-molten-cheese-stuffed burger shows up on a menu and manages to blow you away.
