At Hamburger Mary's you can expect a large menu of burgers, salads, pizzas, breakfast foods, (the menu is packed with notch-above-TGI Friday's artery-clogging fare and monstrous fruity cocktails), festive lighting, quirky ambiance and lots of drag queens. It may be a chain restaurant, but the WeHo location is more club than café. Studly waiters and bartenders, pumping dance beats on the speakers, flamboyant touches like disco balls in the bathroom, silver-sequined high-heeled-shoe check trays and the juiciest drag performers in town. "Legendary Bingo" nights on Wednesdays and Sundays ain't your grandma's game scene, but if you took her here, she'd never want to leave. Other nights, Mary's hammy hostess roster features some of the quirkiest queer talents in town: Calpernia Addams' seductive "Stunning" cabaret show on Saturdays, saucy Wendy Ho Ho Show Thursdays and Fridays, and the rockin' vox of Detox on Fridays.
