Description

Chris Curtis, the head of the Neighborhood Farmers Markets and the recipient of the Angelo Pellegrini award, was the original owner of this U-District ice cream shop. Today, it continues to serve not-quite 31 flavors scooped into cones or bowls. Most days, there's a steady ebb and flow of ice cream lovers in and out the door, licking or spooning sweet bites of creamy bliss, and on the rare sweltering afternoon, you can barely get in the place.
