More than a taco shop, Guedo’s is also a cantina with a full bar. Basically, it’s a pretty good spot to hit up if you’re in Chandler and are looking for a casual night of eating and drinking. The restaurant’s beachy vibe is true to the laid-back spirit of Baja, and the patio is decked out with palapas, palm trees, and misters to keep the summer heat at bay while making the air feel a little more coastal. There’s nothing to be bummed about here. There are happy photos all over, colorful painted parrots, and bunches of chiles hanging in the dining room. The tortillas are delicious, the salsas are refreshing and tasty, and there are big portions of juicy meats to be had. The fish taco will add to the seaside feeling, but the chicken taco with moist chunks of meat in spicy red sauce is just as good.
Who knew that a couple of tacos and some cerveza is all it takes to feel like you're on vacation? The beachy vibe at Guedo's is so true to the laid-back spirit of Baja that the only thing missing is the smell of the ocean breeze. Outside, the patio is decked out with palapas, palm trees, and plenty of misters. Walk through the front door, and you're in a happy wonderland of kitsch -- there are photos everywhere, colorful painted parrots and bunches of chiles hanging in the front dining... More »

Everything is made fresh to order, though, with top-quality stuff. Beef is sirloin Angus, and soft flour tortillas are homemade, as are the killer salsas in an... More »
In some restaurants, getting an up-close view of the kitchen and the folks who are slaving away over the proverbial hot stove might just spoil your appetite. But at Guedo's, watching the cooks work adds to the sheer joy of eating their signature tacos. We love waiting in line to order here, because while Spanish music blares from the speakers, these guys sing, dance, laugh and bang their pots around. They belt out romantic ballads at the top of their lungs, hooting and hollering to the salsa... More »
