I'm hungry, The Pudge is hungry, and I know Hi Volume is hungry. Here's the problem, we also want to go watch the US vs England World Cup soccer game. Now we could go to someones house and grab a couple of beers, sure that would get the job done. But then we'd miss all the excitement that you could only get from a sports bar. That's where GridIron Bar & Grill comes in. The folks over at GridIron state "Gridiron Bar & Grill is dedicated to serving only the freshest sports fare along with our own unique perspective on several traditional dishes." They aren't kidding when they say that. This menu has the usual items you would expect to see in a sports bar. Onion rings, cheese fries and burgers. But as stated a lot of the items come with their own unique twist. I could tell you what I mean but it's easier if I saw you... BRING ON THE FOOD! What in Sams hell am I looking at? It's like a war going on between potatoes bacon and a whole mess of cheese. My friends you are looking at GridIrons own creation known only as the "Flea-flicker" it consists of crispy curly fries mixed with bacon, chives, sour cream and smothered in two types of cheese. But wait, become hidden underneath this amazing mess are fried chicken breasts covered in hot sauce. A tasty and pleasant treat that will surprise most that don't know about the secret. GREAT PEARLS OF PERSECUTION, WE HIT THE MOTHERLOAD! What you are now bearing witness to, is the awe inspiring "Dominator" burger. If it weren't for the fact that there was a description of it in the menu, I would have never believed that such a mythical creature existed. You take 3 10oz burgers, smother them with fries and chili and as the case with the burger above you throw in a crunchy Alaskan King Crab cake, two onion rings, "two-minute warning" hot sauce and a sunny side up egg. IT WAS GLOOOOOOOORIOUS! Hi Volume went separately on a different day and ate his own version of this beast of a burger. Oh he was in heaven. Though we tried in the end we were no match for the Dominator as none of us were able to slay the beast. Dominator 2 FatCats 0. You best believe though that there will be another rematch. GridIron is a sports themed bar so it would make sense that they have good coverage of all the big games. With over 10 flat screens (including televisions inside almost all of the the booths) it would be hard to miss that last game winning point.
