Twin Peaks has a fabulous view, but it can easily be tainted by tour buses and vans that are a-rockin', so you shouldn't come a-knockin'. In other words, people can just ruin it all sometimes -- especially the ones who are trying to hawk Golden Gate Bridge T-shirts and snow globes. Grand View Park is the opposite of a convenient tourist destination -- it's in the middle of the Sunset District, and sports some intimidating stairs that wouldn't be all that much fun for everyone....
