Description

Completed in 1913 and cleaned up four years ago, Grand Central is truly, um, grand. The clean ceiling and the newly restored Vanderbilt Hall, which has hosted a gospel choir competition, world fencing semi-finals, a play or two, and more, have added an ambiance that the unrestored terminal did not have. And, check out the market: an overwhelming sense explosion of gourmet food (chocolate croissants . . . mmm).
