The kitchen serves straightforward fare made with good ingredients, abiding by a philosophy dating to the days when people rolled their own pastas, cured their own meats, and pickled their own vegetables. Seasonally changing dishes may include pillowy gnocchi, roast game hen, and cassoulet. Several of the brunch offerings are good enough to rouse oneself from a lazy weekend slumber, such as the rapturous brioche French toast with orange caramel sauce, or the eggs on cocotte, a creamy concoction of poached eggs and ham with a hint of truffle.

    Lunch is the time to enjoy this sweet spot, really nice waiters, great food, nice mood.Also Sunday thru Thursday $20 wine is really fine
