This Upper Eastside café offers take-out food plans - such as ten square meals for $80. This adorable red, bougainvillea-covered converted house, located on the corner of NE 76th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, also serves salads, wraps, pastas, sandwiches, and freshly prepared entrées for $8.95. Among the offerings are turkey meatloaf (served with homemade barbecue sauce) and seasoned tofu. And if the menu doesn't spark a craving, check out the cozy, flower-garnished dining area. You'll find metal tables, disc-shaped peach and white plastic chairs, and a black wall with quotes in chalk from e.e. cummings, Ghandi, and Leonard Cohen. Ask about the daily specials (all under $10); they range from grilled herb salmon to a deliciously tender chicken breast smothered in mushrooms and white wine sauce and accompanied by choice of two sides (sweet potatoes, rice and beans, or veggie of the day).
