While news of another Italian wine bar may provoke a yawn these days, this joint deserves a second look with its whimsical Central Italian cooking. The house-cured anchovies tangled in a mini-salad with celery and parsley are bitchin', and so are the small, crock-tendered stews of oxtails and tripe, the former served with a welcome wad of polenta. Sometimes the simplest things are the best, like the honey drizzled two-year-old parmigiano reggiano, or the fat-rimmed Virginia ham.
