Description

Things to do in Glendale? Watch sports, eat, and drink. If sports don't float your boat -- but German-style craft brews do -- then Gordon Biersch has what you need. Conveniently located on the outskirts of University of Phoenix Stadium's parking lot (it's hard to get too far from sports in Glendale), Gordon Biersch is ideal for those football and hockey fans who crave a light, fruity märzen while nibbling on such entrées as Chilean sea bass and crab-stuffed shrimp before screaming themselves hoarse and pounding $8 light beers. The décor and atmosphere is decidedly upscale, even if certain Sundays bring in a rowdier crowd. Thankfully, TVs line the bar for those who want to watch the game, separating them from the people who are serious about their food. Gordon Biersch made their name on their beers, and they're still the draw.
