Description

Any meaty pastry pocket makes perfect street food, and Jamaican beef patties are a prime example. This chain offers a good rendition of the basic seasoned ground beef, but also features shrimp and vegetarian versions (mixed vegetables or callaloo) for cow haters. In addition to the patties, Golden Krust has a full menu, including curried goat, jerk chicken, and the traditional Jamaican breakfast dish ackee and cod. (LALLI)

west indian dishes. not pricey at all. And the taste makes you think you got one over on them. it's full of flavor, yet very good for you. curry chicken, rice and peas, sweet plantains and vegetables. cod fish cakes. chicken patties,shrimp patties, beef patties, etc jerk chicken - (a spicey sauce)

Love this place... it's modest but good for Lunch this is the only Golden Krust (To my knowledge LOL) who has a luch special for a mini meal which is like $6. Don't let the MINI fool you, they pack in the food to the point that you have to open it carefully so it won't fall out! Choice of Salmon with onions peppers lightly spiced--perfect spice which I ate today, Whiting, (friend fish) Curry Chicken with sauteed onions carrots , Jerk Chicken or my favorite Stewed Chicken with carrots,t he chicken is so tender you don't have to make an effort to get it off the bone because with just one touch of the fork it slides off ever so smoothly! served with white rice and green peas or redish rice with Kidney Beans stewed cabbage sweet plaintains and even homemade pinapplelemonade (sweet and yummy!) You also have a choice of Vegetarian lightly spiced patty mixed vegetables like cabbage and carrots broccoli etc, Soy patty, Beef Patty which is addictive, and Jerk Chicken Patty which has a nice spice to it.
