This swanky Westwood restaurant and bar is one of the better spots in the UCLA area for an after-dinner drink – or maybe dinner itself. The pizza isn’t great, but the salads and pastas are huge and nicely executed. And you can’t go wrong with the wine lists, helpfully sorted by “First Date,” “Second Date” or “Third Date,” depending on what you want to spend. It can be surprisingly easy to get a seat at the bar or a high table on most weeknights. And though you won’t find many undergrads here, you will find grad students, staff, and people noshing after a show at the nearby Geffen Playhouse or maybe Royce Hall.
