The food is pretty basic: sandwiches, pretzels and salads. The beer selection, on the other hand, is top-notch. An excellent variety of imports and hard-to-find domestic craft brews is constantly updated. A big outdoor patio and warm wood interior makes this a brewhound's destination in any weather.
A tiny bit pretentious, but almost with good reason. Don't want to face the monster crowds at the flying saucer with the college crowd, but do want a choice of some outstanding beers? This place is for you. Crowd is 30ish, with some bucks, but good people because they like good beer. There is a ton of choices here and the bartenders are knowledgeable about the differences in a pale ale versus an amber, they really know there stuff. Just tell them what you like and they gladly give a little sample before you buy! There's a great beer garden out front to sit and chat and enjoy Texas weather. Inside is warm, medium to dark wood with pottery barn type male comfy furniture. It's the kind of place you could discuss your world domination plans or plans for the weekend. Be careful though, bud isn't exactly the kind of beer I would order here, go exotic, live a little, try something new, it's a really great date place.
