This new addition to the city's small collection of Georgian restaurants (from the country, not the state) expands our knowledge of the cuisine with variations on dishes that were already familiar, such as a katchapuri pastry with a raw egg yolk on top that mixes with the molten cheese oozing out, and a chicken tabaka that suspends the crisp flattened bird over a dipping sauce of sour cream and crushed garlic. Shaped like coin purses, the lamb-stuffed kinkhali dumplings are superb, and so are any of the vegetarian appetizers that feature a crushed walnut paste and strew of pomegranate seeds - your choice of eggplant, spinach, or the tender red beans known as lobio.
