Galactic Pizza Open Mic 

There is something undeniably low-key about Galactic Pizza. The colorful, humbly small space feels cozy, not crowded, at any hour. The outdoor tiki-style sidewalk seating allows customers to chat over chow in a much more sedate environment than other outdoor areas, many of which feature drunk people shouting over other tables. Even the delivery people, dressed in superhero threads, seem chill. This laid-back vibe should transfer well to Galactic's recently revived open-mic night, which kicked off last week. Hosted by hip-hop artist Sean Anon (Wide Eyes), the event invites guests to entertain each other with any talent, from comedy to yodeling to poetry to drumming, and anything in between (or far, far out there). Each night will also feature performances from local artists. This week highlights the talented EZRA, a hip-hop musician and slam poet.
