Description

Taking cues from its namesake, this intimate little bistro caters to Francophiles everywhere with cheese plates, frites and, yes, even escargot. Some of the menu's more creative cocktails are an acquired taste - there's a sizable absinthe menu - so stick to what you know if you're not a fan of lavender-flavored booze. During happy hour (4-6 p.m., 11-close and all day on Mondays), said cocktails are two dollars cheaper. Gainsbourg's mood lighting and kitschy décor make for a relaxing evening. But if what you want is trippy - and a recreation of a Twin Peaks set - then head to the back room featuring red velvet curtains and a floor of checkered black.
