This place won us over before we even set foot in the door, but we're crazy about kitschy cool neon. Step inside and breathe deep. That's the sweet, smokey smell of meat cooked low and slow. A funky dining room is a fitting back drop for some of the best barbecue in Seattle. The ribs, pulled pork, chicken, all cooked on a Southern Pride smoker, a rotisserie setup which houses a separate box where wood smolders and blows over the cooking meat. There's also a fine lineup of sides, fried catfish and Northwest salmon. Happy Hour from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday means $3 drinks and snacks.
