It’s always struck us as strange that the Fremont Sunday Market did not include a farmers market. Turns out it did, 10 years ago, but when downtown Fremont went through some reconstruction, the farmers market relocated to Ballard. Recently the FM triumphantly returned to Fremont, which means you can now pick up fresh local produce along with your new knickknacks. You can grab cherries, sugar-snap peas, apples and strawberries without the crowds.
