This sports bar in trendy South Beach isn't called a hideaway for nothing. Frankie's is a relaxed spot to go with friends, grab a beer and some wings, and watch a game on one of the many flat-screen TV sets. Sports memorabilia clutters the walls, and beer ads hang from the ceiling. There are small tables and chairs scattered throughout the space, a fully stocked wooden bar, and classic rock on the sound system. In fact, a giant cage for dancing that takes up part of the floor might be the only reminder you're in South Beach. Whether it's lunch or a late night out, jeans and a tee will most likely do.
Miami New times says its no secret but i think it is you can walk right by it and not notice it now my second fav bar in South Beach besides Ted's!!!! its not pricey the bartenders will chat with you and its a good time!!! they even have a cage thing that makes for an awesome picture! They even have their own beer its called Frankies no crying ale beers are around $4 PBR's $3 well drinks are $5 See great prices!
When you think South Beach, sports bar might not be the first type of watering hole that comes to mind. But if Frankie's South Beach Hide-a-Way owner Frankie Faria (who also owns a long-standing Doral location) has anything to say about it, that will change. Sports bar prereqs, such as a bevy of HDTV sets, are present and accounted for, and there's even a center-stage cage in case you want to be incarcerated.
