Finding Louisiana-style cooking in the Valley is not easy, so this friendly spot in a West Valley strip mall definitely fills a void, even if its Cajun menu might not necessarily knock you out. Specials (including jambalaya, shrimp Creole, shrimp etouffe, and crab Landry) vary by night, so it might be a good idea to call ahead to find out whether they're serving your favorite. Regular menu items include gumbo (chicken and sausage on weekdays, seafood on weekends) and seven varieties of po boy sandwiches.The chewy sub rolls on the sandwiches may be jarring to those familiar with those served in the Big Easy, and they are pricey at an average $12 each.
