With reasonably priced pastas and antipasto plates to share, First Course is the kind of neighborhood restaurant you could raise a family in. Pasta dishes are well-turned-out and flavorful, and the solid little wine-and-beer list is nice to have in your corner, but perhaps the biggest draw here is that the First Course is virtually the only neighborhood restaurant in that cozy Tudor world south of the crick and east of Diamond Lake.
