Description

"What the hell is a firkin?" you've probably asked every time you've passed by this Old English-style pub. A firkin is a unit of measurement in true Old English fashion, equal to ΒΌ of a barrel, or approximately 72 pints. A phoenix is what you feel like when, against all odds, you rise again the morning after you consume a firkin. Firkin & Phoenix features traditional pub fare like cottage pie, bangers, beans and mash, and of course, fish 'n' chips. They've also got more American bar food like burgers and chili dogs, and you can even get some pasta, salads, or finer foods like chicken curry and grilled ribeye steak. They run specials every day, and have karaoke on Thursdays and a free poker tournament on Sundays. Free WiFi, too.
