Joshua Santangelo was the general manager of lauded steakhouse Prime 707, and when it closed, he opened his own restaurant, Fiorentina, in the same space. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with a row of posh banquettes, a trio of cylindrical red chandeliers, and a buffed-up bar. The menu roams all over Italy, with grilled pizza, bistecca Fiorentina, and linguine con vongole alongside offerings like caprese salad with Pugliese burrata, spiedini alla Romana, and the house signature rigatoni Bucaiola. Most appetizers are $10 and under, all pastas under $15, and entrées top out at $25.

Been here many times and it never disappoints or underdelivers. The owner gets it. Well executed food, good service, nice decor and a good vibe. The dishes cover many regions of Italian cuisine.
