Houston's flagship West African restaurant in Little Nigeria on the southwest side specializes in the cuisine found in countries like Nigeria and Ghana. You'll find predominantly Nigerian and Ghanaian waitstaff and customers there, too, but there's no language barrier thanks to the helpful staff. Good starter items are the finely spiced pepper soup or the savory jollof rice. Of course, you can go all out and order some egusi and fufu to discover the true meaning of "finger-licking good."
