Description

Producer of the annual Howl! Festival in Tompkins Square Park each summer, the Federation of East Village Artists focuses on remembering the neighborhood's great artists of the pastaAllen Ginsberg and Charlie Parker, among themawhile trying to nurture Village's artists of the present and future. Their other objectives involve fighting for local artists' rights, and encouraging their participation in public art projects and working with the public schools.
