A few years after conquering Williamsburg, Fatty Cue opened an outpost in Manhattan, dishing up its famed selection of smoked meats while also offering a more refined menu of Asian-influenced small plates. Highlights include smoked goat pappardelle, coriander bacon, chiles and cheese, and a half rabbit that has been fried to golden perfection. Cocktails like the smokin’ bone (bourbon, smoked pineapple, and chocolate bitters) aren’t to be missed, either. Note, though, that portions run on the small side, making tabs add up quickly.
