Famous Pizza's hand-stretched, thin-crust pies are made fast, made fresh, layered with good-quality toppings and portioned generously, top to bottom. That's to be expected: Call yourself Famous Pizza, and pizza should be what you do best. But the thirty-year-old Famous also offers chicken wings, salads and sandwiches on fresh-baked bread, which really means they're made with pizza dough and filled with pizza toppings. On Tuesday, there's a baked-spaghetti special, and at all times, one of the city's best soft calzones.

Famous Pizza was an institution in this town thirty years ago, and this outpost is still a must-stop for anyone in need of a quick lunch. If you want the BEST Famous Pizza location, come down to the 'hood. This particular branch of Famous is the best. The staff are awesome, and the pizza is just better here.
