Equal parts venue, boutique and gallery, eVocal is just one slice of the Costa Mesa art scene. With its relatively unintrusive wood-paneled exterior, once you make your way inside, you'll find a boutique hawking all sorts of handmade, one-of-a-kind goods, from clothing to jewelry. Hardwood floors then lead you to a performance space with art lining the walls. The small stage often hosts local favorites (hip-hop, rock, folk and more) and open mic nights. The best part, though, is the large, decorated outdoor patio in the back overflowing with artwork, allowing for freestanding bars during events.
