Formerly known as Best Panda, Empero Taste is a big banquet hall in the far reaches of the Outer Richmond, where large groups gather for Cantonese feasts. The portions of claypot dishes, salt-and-pepper calamari and prawns, and vermicelli noodle bowls are generous and filling. With leftovers practically guaranteed, Empero Taste is an excellent bargain. Even fish dishes ? one of the restaurant's strong suits ? are reasonably priced.
