This bakery has been serving sweets in Chelsea Market since before it morphed into a tony shopping mall. The space is narrow and bright, with pristine white walls and glass counters filled with baked goods set against bright pink flourishes. There is a reason why all of the cookies look so good; each one is iced by hand. They¹re quite good gifts, seeing as you can get them shaped like everything from butterflies and baseballs to taxicabs and high-heeled shoes. Special events like the Oscars get their own celebrity-themed cookies. There are plenty of cupcakes as well, available in flavors like red velvet, Oreo and a chocolate and vanilla mix. Pick up something in the store or call ahead for special party packages; the staff will even come to your house with custom treats.
