Formerly a closet of a restaurant with eternal standing-room-only status, Elaine's has moved to a bigger space with sufficient seating for the droves that rush here for the volcanic jerk chicken and the blast-furnace goat curry. For customers seeking refuge from the spice, there is the stewed chicken platter. Other standard menu options include kingfish, collaloo and akee. Of course, the side of choice is rice with peas.
