Irving, TX is now home to a little piece of Peru. El Tumi offers authentic Peruvian cuisine ranging from anticuchos (the popular cart food of seared cow heart) to lomo saltado (a Chinese influenced stir fry with French fries). The servers and owner don't speak much English but it sort of helps the feeling that you're actually in Peru, especially with the constant loop of native dance recitals and classical guitar on the TVs. Point to order and you'll be fine-losing only a little in translation, but none in charm.
