You might think El Gran Malo is just a bar, but you'd be wrong. This Timbergrove Tex-Mex spot elevates both tequila and tacos to a fine art, with house infusions like golden beet or pecan-and-cayenne-pepper tequilas that make a mean margarita if you're adventurous. Standards like tamales, tacos and even tortas are all given modern twists, and you can slap a fried egg on top of your torta or get those tacos with Mexican Coca-Cola-marinated pork belly tucked inside.
