Description

Some are quick to brand El Chupacabra, with its punk-meets-Day of the Dead decor, a "Bimbo's of the north." But like the mythical "goat sucker" that is its namesake, El Chupacabra is its own animal. The restaurant serves up its Mission-style burritos fat. Slathering them up with the red pineapple salsa will triple the spice that rests deep inside the burritos' smoky layers of cheese, sour cream, rice, refried beans, and avocado. Wash it all down with a Lagunitas or one of the bar's pint-sized margaritas.
