The theme is pretty evident once you walk in the door; the kitschy aluminum tchotchkes lining the wall and the colorful tablecloths used as upholstery practically scream "Fun Mexican restaurant!" Housed in the former Vinyl space in Hell's Kitchen, this restaurant has a similar vibe, with groups of 20-somethings packing in for inexpensive eats and drinks before heading out for a night on the town. The booze is as important as the food; throw down a few mango margaritas, watermelon mojitos or cold micheladas and you'll be ready to party. The food isn't revolutionary, but it should satisfy those looking for some solid, Mexican classics, including dishes like steak burritos, grilled vegetable enchiladas, tacos al pastor and shrimp quesadillas. On weekends, the restaurant serves Mexican brunch fare like chilaquiles, huevos rancheros and egg enchiladas. Office buildings in midtown can take advantage of delivery service, available with a $10 minimum.—Keith Wagstaff
