Description

Eddie Merlot's is little different from every other member of the steak-house gaggle in Dallas, except for this: Every cut is prime, even in the soup; instead of a carpet bombing campaign with bottles from everywhere, the wine program is tightly focused, smart and reverential; and the décor is brighter and more colorful than that in the ubiquitous dark, clubby beef haunts. Steak is good, too. Fish is even better.
