Eats Market Cafe chef-owners Evan Handler and Toby Matasar have estimable butcher and baker backgrounds, respectively, so don't be dissuaded by their eatery's somewhat strange strip mall locale. At lunch, the Reuben sandwich is the thing; at dinner, try the slow-braised brisket and a homemade ice-cream sandwich afterward. For West Seattle shoppers, Eats is a real treat. What's perhaps surprising is that it's a worthy destination for outsiders, too.
